It’s not often that I see female Red-winged blackbirds, but when I encounter one of them, my heart beats a little faster and I ask the bird to linger for just a few seconds. Sometimes I get lucky.
For some reason, the female blackbird is always a little plump and clumsy when I see her, although some will probably disagree with me.
Generally, life is good.

The brown colors here are great. I think they give the images some depth.
