Chaos

I took this photo last December and never posted it. I couldn’t decide was it worthwhile to post or not. Returning back from Bear River I saw many Blackbirds flying in a chaotic way over the bare trees. There were so many of them that I was mesmerized by their silent chaotic flight.

Red-Winged Blackbird

Went to Farmington Bay to see what is going there. The first bird I saw was the male Red-Winged Blackbird. There were a few of them but this one stayed close. The males are all black with a red shoulder and yellow wing bar.The females are not so impressive, they are just light brown.
