Immature Male Red-wing Blackbird

How good it is sometimes to return to a summer morning, warm and calm, especially when it’s snowing outside and everything is so dull and colorless.

I pulled out from my archive this morning the photo above that I took last July and never posted. Looking at the photo I suddenly remembered how the immature male Red-wing Blackbird was jumping from bump to bump in the swamp without stopping. Suddenly something in the water caught his attention and I was able to get this shot.

Generally, life is good!
